CGRN intends to work in South Africa - consulting with any church willing to be educated in reaching the next level of growth. Our plan is to gather leaders of churches in various locations around the country and conduct church growth seminars for them, showing them the usefulness of consultation. From there, we intend to offer our services to individual churches and take each church willing to do the program through the entire consulting package. We will be able to proceed through many consultations at the same time.
We will concentrate on three major areas around the country - where the clusters of churches are most predominant. These areas are; Gauteng (consisting of the cities of Benoni, Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding towns), the city of Durban and surrounding towns, and the city of Cape Town and surrounding towns. These regions contain about forty churches that would lend themselves very well to consultation plus other smaller churches that would benefit from a certain amount of input.
We expect to accomplish the church-wide seminars and start consulting with these churches within the first two weeks after of our arrival in South Africa.
All throughout, extensive coaching has to happen. Statistics have also shown that the more a church uses a coach – long term – the more likely it will be to grow.
Some coaching will be done on site, while other coaching will occur through phone calls, blogs, and webinars.
One of our main goals is to encourage local churches to get involved in externally focused activities, especially church planting. Statistics constantly bear out the fact that if churches focus on these things, they will grow.

Des,
I'm very excited & am going to start being prayful for Ryan and you in this work. I pray for Anne & Ryans financial growth along with this spiritual growth. Have you already contacted these churches & arranged for these dates in the future? Have you shared this web/blog site with the church in the U.S.?
In Him,
